Cheese slices with macadamias
- 1 packet deep-freeze puff pastry dough, thawed
- 75 g macadamias, coarsely chopped
- 100 g cumin cheese, grated
- 1 egg, beaten
- coarse sea salt
Preheat the oven to 180˚C.
Cut each slice of puff pastry dough into in 4 slices.
Brush the slices with the beaten egg.
Press the chopped macadamias into the dough.
Brush the slices once more with beaten egg.
Sprinkle the grated cheese and sea salt onto the slices, slightly pressing this into the surface.
Bake the cheese slices for approx. 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
