Peanut Butter Bacon Burger

Ingredients

  • 500 g potatoes
  • Rapeseed oil for frying
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 400 g minced beef
  • Salt, pepper
  • 3 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 4 buns
  • 4 slices of Gouda cheese
  • 60 g peanut butter

 

Method:

1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into wedges. In a pan, heat plenty of rapeseed oil to 160°C, add the potato wedges and fry until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to take them out of the oil and allow them to dry on a sheet of kitchen paper. Then place them in a bowl and mix with 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

2. In a frying pan, fry the bacon in a splash of oil until crispy.

3. In a bowl, season the minced beef with salt and pepper, mix well and make four patties. In a hot frying pan, heat the remaining oil and fry each patty for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side.

4. Cut and toast the rolls and add a slice of Gouda and a patty to each roll. Spread the peanut butter on top. Place two slices of bacon on top of the peanut butter on each roll, and cover with the top half of the roll.

5. Serve with the potato wedges.
